About the Space
In the working world, first-generation professionals and underrepresented leaders continue to face systemic barriers, burnout, and a deep sense of anomie—a disconnection from self, purpose, and fulfillment caused by the commodification of labor and the exploitation of humanity in work and leadership spaces.
Modern workplaces demand productivity at the expense of well-being, forcing individuals—especially those from marginalized backgrounds—to overperform, conform, and sacrifice personal values to survive within systems that were never designed for them.

First-gen leaders and professionals are particularly vulnerable, navigating cultural expectations, professional glass ceilings, and the immense weight of being the “first” or “only” in spaces that do not reflect their lived experiences. I created this space to feel deeply welcoming. Especially for those of us who’ve often felt like the other, or like we’re alone in the world. I wanted to change that for you.

We deeply understand the intersectional struggles so many of us carry — and we’re here to change that. We’re not just breaking glass ceilings; we’re building our own, because we can. This is a space alive with rebellious spirit and collective resilience, all in service of creating meaningful change that honors every part of who we are.

We’ve spent a lot of time thinking about how to keep this accessible.
Sustaining this work means we can keep the lights on, overhead is covered, and we can afford to bring in special practitioners and workshops. That’s why we offer different levels of involvement, rates, and participation options. But our main community hub? It’s community-supported because in a world this divided, we need collective resilience.
